Con la llegada del final de cada trimestre, la revista Famitsu y otras fuentes como Media Create recopilan en diferentes ránkings los juegos más vendidos en ese periodo y comparten los resultados con todo el mundo. En esta ocasión ya podemos ver cuáles han sido los 100 juegos más vendidos en Japón a lo largo del primer trimestre de 2016, un trimestre donde los éxitos han brillado por su ausencia y el título con más copias llevadas a los hogares de los nipones no alcanza siquiera el medio millón de copias.

Va a tocar esperar hasta el segundo trimestre y finales de año para ver cómo el tercer episodio de 'Yo-Kai Watch' o las nuevas ediciones de 'Pokémon' levanten el vuelo. Así pues, 'Dragon Quest Monsters: Joker 3' se alza como el juego más vendido del año.
